Greetings Potential Vendor,
Welcome to my website!
I'll admit it's not a fancy site but I made it by myself approximately 14 years ago and its free with Weebly!
I hope you will find answers to every possible question you could have concerning the 51 vendor spaces I offer. This website also includes my contract!
The town of Summerville has allowed me to rent vendor spaces since 2006.
Throughout the years, I have rented to a large variety of local and non-local businesses.
I work with Non-profits and others like Charleston Sweet grass, Chiropractors, Home made peanut butter and olive oil, jewelry, kids clothing, candles, realtors, political candidates, artist, home decor, boutiques, home made pens and pencils, wreaths, metal yard work, jewelry, art, golf carts, pet supplies, stained glass, cosmetics, pallet furniture, cbd oils, spas, toys, book authors, dog trainers and much much more!
Summerville, S.C. is known for it's annual outdoor Flowertown Festival. Each year, the Town estimates 250,000 people attend the 3 day arts and crafts and various businesses event! The host of festival is the Summerville YMCA.
I am a private homeowner.
The date of the annual festival traditionally coincides each year with Charleston's world renowned Cooper River/Ravenel Bridge Run where thousands of people from around the world participate! The 3 day weekend traditionally takes place around late March or early April.
In addition to the bridge run and the Flowertown festival, many other events like weddings, graduations and smaller festivals are also taking place. Summerville, Charleston, Mount Pleasant and the surrounding communities are at a peek with visitors and many hotels are completely booked months even a year in advance.
The good news is that the Summerville hotels that are located just off I-26 known as exits 199-A and 199-B have increased in number hotels significantly over the years. Luckily,
most of them are located 2 miles from the location of the Flowertown festival and my private property on South Main Street. (Also known as Highway 17A)
The festival is known for the hundreds of Artist, craftsmen, non-profits and various businesses that set up to promote their business within the areas designated by the town! The YMCA is the official host.
Throughout the years, many of my vendors begin networking and participate in other events together!
You are allowed to share a booth with my approval and once I receive a contract from each business owner. Anyone tending the vendor space must read my contract.
We love offering this opportunity to various businesses to experience this EXCELLENT ADVERTISING and selling event.
My property is located in the middle of the festival facing Highway 17-A (also known as 611 South Main Street and the corner of East South Sixth Street) and right beside the Children's Jubilee offering rides and games!
Many school and non-profit organizations are located diagonally across from my property. The YMCA Food vendors are located across the street facing my property.

Summerville Business License: The Town of Summerville requires me and my vendors to obtain a business license each year. AFTER the Town issues my license, each of my vendors have to apply for the 3 day event license ONLINE!
However, if you already have an active Town of Summerville business license you should not need the 3 day event license unless they change their policy. You must provide me a copy with your contract.
LIABILITY Insurance:
Every Vendor MUST provide me and my insurance proof of liability insurance.
The liability policy must provide one million dollars and must list Gina and Gerry Britt as certificate holders for the dates you begin set up and until you take down your display.
If this is not confirmed in a written policy, I can not allow you to participate!
You must agree that you will not hold me, my family or our insurance liable for anything!
If someone gets hurt by any activity concerning your booth, your insurance will cover any claim.
(You may want to contact ACT, Ins. online. Many of my vendors use them because they have only charged $39.00 in years past)
